I enjoyed these socks. I did them in a double knit stylecraft pure wool, colour mocha so they’d be nice and warm for winter but still used 2.5mm needles. I used just over 100g.
School holidays are now here for the next 6 weeks. Boy9 will be home which depending on the weather may give me more or less crafting time.
I am planning some small easy pick up and put down projects.
I have started a pair of socks for MrK which are just whizzing along, 48 stitches on 3mm needles will do that.
I’m also looking at some hand sewing projects but haven’t settled to anything yet.
I’m going to have to start the cross stitch photo of Sox soon, l’m hoping it will look stunning and be framed for MrK for Christmas. We’ll see.
I also have some exciting news —— l have finished the baby girl quilt.
It is gorgeous, well worth all the trouble.
I’m not showing it off tonight as l’m hoping for better weather tomorrow for some better photos, you’ll have to wait.
Baby boy quilt to get finished now.
Right, l’m cuddled under my lap quilt now with a large coffee and some cross stitch. It feels really cold here tonight.
Thanks for reading.
